Dynamic character

Guy montag he is the character that the story is about. He’s also the dynamic character that changes as the story is being told. Montag goes from hating books and burning them to reading them and wanting to put an end to to books being against the law. So in the following paragraphs I will explain why he is a dynamic character.
Now to start off why montag is a dynamic character. My first reason is because at the start of the book it’s him conducting the kerosene hose burning down the tatters and charcoal ruins of history. To be broken down, basically he was burning books and enjoying it. But as we keep on reading he seems to slowly be changing but one day when he is talking to Mildred saying he’s not happy and wants to do something big, so he goes up to the air conditioner pulls back the grille reaches far back . . .  and pulls out a book. We then find out that he has more and has had them for about a year. This is good evidence of a dynamic character because montag goes from burning books to having several books and has had them for about a year.
Through out the book we see montag change into a whole different person, so here is more evidence on how this is true. In the first couple of pages montag makes himself appear as someone who is happy, but really he’s just forcing himself to smile. But once he started talking to clarisse McClellan a character in the book, the same character who asks montag if he’s truly happy and after being asked that montag starts to think if he’s truly happy or if its all just a lie.when montag realized that he wasn’t happy that was when he was with Mildred saying it’s gotten so big on him and fells so unhappy and wants to do something big and that’s when he takes out the books from inside the air conditioner. Here montag goes from having to fake his smile to wondering if he’s truly happy to finally admitting that he wasn’t happy at all.
Now for my final reasoning on how montag is a dynamic character. Montag goes from thinking he knows his wife Mildred very well and thinking Mildred knows everything about him and there relationship, but boy was he wrong. We know this because when montag asked Mildred where they met and when she says she can’t remember because it’s been a long time. Montag just loses it and says “funny, how funny, not to remember where or when you met your husband”.
Now, to close off everything and summarize it all. Montag the main character of the book does a complete 180 he goes from loving the smell of kerosene and wearing it as perfume to having and reading books. My second paragraph is about how he finally admits to being unhappy with his life and always having to wear a mask to cover his true emotions. Montag then realizes that his wife is like everyone else in society, emotionless and just not there with you, for example not remember that she overdosed on sleeping pills. Montag the dynamic character, it’s just home against society.
